I bought this on Black Friday and it does OK, has problems where you hear the audio but shows still downloading the show and this happens after it comes back froma commercial.
Netflix still will not work either from the button on remote or downloaded channel .
If these problems can ever be resolved I will change my rating.

Our second Roku

We were so pleased with the first one we bought that we just HAD to get this second one to use in different rooms! We live in the country where TV reception sometimes is very sparse. This gives us a chance for quality viewing at an "oh-so-reasonable" price!

My brother has one also and I enjoyed this product very much I can watch what I want when I want so when I moved out of his house I got one for myself.

This is the second Roku I have purchased (needed a 2nd for spare bedroom) Gives the ability to streamline without all the extra wires!

Interesting option for tv

I bought the roku on Black Friday 2015. While I am happy I did, I have had a few minor issues with the device. While scrolling theough the menu, it will randomly continually scroll making difficult to stop on a particular program. Also I have issue with having to be a cable/satellite subscriber in order to be able to use the streaming channels. Overall it's a decent product. The roku rates highe to me than my Apple TV does.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got rid of cable and bought this as an alternative. While I cannot watch some of the channels I watched with cable, I am satisfied with what I can watch with the Roku.
