I bought this because I had 2 Fire sticks and although they both worked the one in my sons room was impossible. He could not watch a movie or anything without it freezing constantly, and I mean constantly. It was so frustrating to try and watch anything that he stopped using it. I saw the ROKU on sale and thought it was worth a try and it is awesome. Not once has he had any problem and he enjoys watching TV again!!

Couldn't function without it

My husband and I don't have cable. So are ROKU is our only source of tv entertainment! And we would be lost without it. My hubby LOVES watching the Simpsons and the fact that the fx app offers every season and every episode of Simpsons leaves my hubby in Simpson heaven. The only thing I wish there was a more variety of movies at no cost.

I received the Roku 1 as a gift. Don't like the slow way of having to type in titles in the search feature. Seems a little antiquated.
