This device connects to my wireless router every time with no issues. I really enjoy the options this offers without having to pay for channels I never watch.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! This will mess with your tv shut it off goes into the menu without anyone even pushing a button on the remote then when you go to choose a TV show or a movie it is plain text there's no pictures or anything to distinguish the difference between the episodes that you've seen they all blend together so you need to know the exact title. its is not very well put together in my opinion you're better off going with the Apple TV or getting yourself a Blu ray player that has smart capabilities for a much cheaper price and better quality product. In the initial setup of the Roku is by far from easy..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay for accessing some internet sites

Mostly a great purchase

I bought this as I had taken my satellite out and not having a smart tv, needed a way to stream television. It was easy to set up and works wonderful most of the time, but I have had to reset it a few times, which is time consuming and annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Roku has given us the chance to watch more cable TV channels in another room at a one time expense. Very cost productive and easy to use.

Alternative to cable

I have been using the roku instead of cable tv for approximately a month and absolutely love it. I am able to use Netflix, Amazon prime, and movie channels which completely take care of my television fix. It is an amazing alternative and I don't plan on going back to regular cable.
