interesting concept

The concept of turning a regular TV into a smart-ish TV by using the Roku SE i.e Roku 1 is a great idea , however I have rarely used it and when I do it is so slow I can not watch with out a lot of "BUFFERING" I am to understand that the ROKU 1 is SLOWER than the Roku 2 , 3 , or 4 ..............My question is WHY bother making something that ultimately ends up irritating your customers on purpose , yes I have check my internet connection and its fine .

Lots of channels

We bought this Roku right after Thanksgiving and we do like it but it tends to stop and reload so much. You can be in the middle of a program and it just starts reloading...takes to long to watch some shows....I love Pandora it does great and lots of the channels do fine and we do like the Roku and glad we purchased it...

Initially I bought this as nothing more than a way to stream Netflix. I was pleasantly surprised by the options and content available. Well worth the investment.

I was excited to by the Roku... I had purchased the higher value Roku 4 and exchanged for the Roku 3. The 4 had little to no buffering, whereas the 3 buffers quite a bit. I had the same wifi system, so not sure why the 3 is buffering so much during a movie.

I bought roku3 like 3 years ago and i love it, i just got the roku1 for my kids room and they are very happy, take little time to learn how to use it because looks little different but at the end they enjoy it like the first one....great!!!!1
