We got the Roku1 for a Christmas gift and it is by far the best gift we've ever received. It has everything you could think of watching, there is definitely something for everyone. I do not miss paying ridiculous prices for cable TV, Roku is awesome and we love it!

More than I hoped for!

I was looking for a cheaper source of entertainment. I wanted to view only what I liked. I didn't need all the extra channels that I wasn't even interested in. This allows me to view what I wanted when I wanted. Can't believe my friend introduced me to such a cost saving, easy-to-use, equipment to make my life easier and more enjoyable.

I purchased this product to replace the wii U. It has a horrible drag every rim you go to switch to a different section it has to reboot. I would not recommend this product. I only use it for Netflix, it won't automatically start the next episode and again has a horrible drag its not my wifi it's just a junk product. Also if your not pointing the remote directly at the box it won't work. It is supposed to hide behind the tv, but I had to leave it sticking out a little so it works. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had the Ruku1 for a couple of months. Works great. Saved me from buying a new TV and brought life back to my old 32" TV.

Love the dynamic application options

We cut the proverbial cable cord a month ago, and will not be turning back! The Roku1 both allows us to connect via HDMI as well as with our stereo AV cordage. I would have given it 5 stars; however, it locks up about once every other day and must be unplugged/restarted.
