Lacks mirroring feature

I bought this last month to have a second one as I have cut the cord. To my surprise it is different than the Roku Streaming Stick. The Netflix is not updated to its current one and it does not have mirroring capability.

Very pleased. However, I wish I could log on to Fox News streaming live. Especially the upcoming debate. I like NewsMax for its integrity and equal reporting. Still looking for other equally balanced news. I enjoy the choices of free movies and Netflix.

Great option for non smart tv's

I received this for Christmas and so far, it seems great for the non smart tv's we have in the house. If you are wanting to use this instead of cable, not a great idea as you still need cable or satellite subscription to stream some of the channels on the Roku. The only use I have found for this is to make a non smart TV a smart TV and adding the apps like Netflix, VuDu, and Amazon Prime.

The remote control must be bad, it runs through the channels so fast we it is like playing a slot machine to get it to land on the right selection. So a little frustrating. However once we are able to view the channels we are happy with the options that are offered.

Got this device to provide more entertainment in the bedroom, and got way more than expected. Plenty of free channels as well as content available for purchase!

Less then what I was expecting

Bought about a month ago. Was very unhappy with the available channels. The only free options are shows/movies from the 70's, to watch anything current you have to pay for a subscription or have a tv/cable provider. The reason we bought the roku was to get rid of our cable provider.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my Roku for a month now and I love it. It's so convenient to have everything on one device. I intend to buy another one for another room in my home. I want one on each television
