Great for entertainment!

Great purchase, does everything as advertised. The only downside is the Netflix App doesn't allow changing between profiles like on the other Roku players. Great other than that. You can also use your phone or tablet to control the player if you lose the remote in the couch, which is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this on Black Friday 2015 and have been enjoying the ease watching Netflix Instantly on my living room's flat-screen TV! It is wonderful, works perfectly, could not ask for better streaming! There is so much I can now watch for free or via a subscription I already have that I am amazed by the greater viewing selection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I installed a roku in my basement a year ago, and if we plan on watching anything we have to put it on atleast 45 minutes before we watch a movie. We have to fiddle with it blinking on and off until the picture stays on the screen. Lately the screen has turned completely purple when we play anything. it is extremely frustrating just to watch a show.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so happy I purchased it because I can see movies. Our cable company has terrible shows to many Spanish shows and sports. Which I am not interested

Get Nexu Player - Roku Netflix App was Cluncky

To get a polished Netflix app Roku said I had to buy a different player which would been nearly as much as a Nexus Player normally sells for. So I bought a Nexus Player and got more functionality, a polished user interface, a polished Netflix app, voice search and expansive Chrome Cast capabilities. Similar capability is very limited on a Roku. Thank you Roku for not providing a polished Netflix app. It is the reason I looked for and found a much better product. And although you might not, I found the Nexus Player on sale for less than an upgraded Roku. Either way I would pay a few extra dollars for the extra nice Nexus Player.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
