Roku for TWC and Hulu

I bought this so that I could use my TWC Cable service in my bedroom. And also for my HULU subscription. I am disapointed since Closed Caption does not work for both apps and I am hard of hearing. Also, there is no numeric keypad and it is a pain to scroll through hundreds of channels one at a time to find the one that you want to watch. Otherwise it works as advertised.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the Netflix app does not allow multiple profiles but it is my understanding that this issue has been resolved in an updated Roku.

I bought the ROKU cause I travel and I don't want to tote a DVD player and my DVDs around from hotel to hotel. This thing is a lifesaver!! Thank you ROKU you guys Rock

Overall terrible Performance, Returned for Refund

I own a Roku 3 and decided to try out the simpler version (Roku 1/SE) on our TV in a spare bedroom. Clicking within apps shows about a half second delay after you push the button on the remote before the device recognizes it. Also, he apps' performance is slow and nothing compared to the speed of the Roku 3 (Example: the Netflix app is completely different on the Roku 1/SE as it is on the Roku 3 and the performance is 10 times better on the Roku 3). If you're gonna get a Roku, spend the extra money and get the 3 or higher, as the performance on the 3 is outstanding.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
