I brought this product a month ago and I love it. I had chromcast and wasn't able to cast when I wanted so when I read up on this product I had to get my hands on it. Ever sine I love my Roku. Have minor problems but other than that I get the channels I want and get to see movies that be on cable for free or a small fee. I recommend this product for those who are looking to cut cable costs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish I had found this years ago

Have the roku stick on my newer tv and so was thrilled to find the roku 1 which connects to my old big screen tv which doesn't have usb or hdmi connectors. Was worried that WiFi wasn't strong enough, but the roku picks it up just fine. The Netflix interface seems to be a little less robust than I have with my roku stick, but basically works fine and may not even be a roku issue but a Netflix issue. If you have an older tv get a roku 1!

Got this on black Friday. Was already going to buy one so when it was on sale couldn't pass it up. Very happy with it will probably get more

I just wish there was more free popular content. Most of the very popular content is exensive to purchase. The expensive of content is the biggest downfall!

We basically use for Netflicks but there are a lot more options. PBS kids channel and u-tube ( basically silly cats for us ) also keep kids in something to watch

Impulse buy during Black Friday shopping at Wal-Mart. Horrible purchase. We already had a Roku 3 (which we love) and the deal was awesome on the Roku SE so we picked it up to add one to the bedroom.
It was horribly slow and some of the apps (especially Netflix) would never load. They got stuck in the loading process every time. Netflix never worked on it even once. Took it back the next day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
