Good item for the money!

Bought this at Christmas time, one for my household and 2 others to give as gifts.
Do not like the fact that Profiles cannot be viewed/ used on it like the sticks and later versions.

Roku Makes Streaming Easy and Effective

This is our second Roku. Cable TV is such a vast wasteland that I decided to Roku (in our family, it's a verb as well as a noun) the den TV (the first is in the MBR). Love the simple controls and setup. The wireless performance is awesome once you do a little experimenting with placement of the box. The choice of streaming sources is amazing.

much better than the older software

Bought Roku 1 October 2014, and took it back because it was not user friendly like the Neo 300 was. But Neo was slow and hung up alot. Bought this Roku Se in November 2015. It works easy like the Neo, but doesn't hang up and crash.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got my Roku SE for my birthday and it is the best gift ever! My Roku 3 moved to Maryland with my daughter when she got married and I was missing it so much. When I saw the Roku SE would work with older televisions I knew I had to have one! I mainly watch tv in my bedroom and that is where I had my old television. It is great that it works with both composite and HDMI because just recently I received a newer television as a gift and was able to also connect now with HDMI. I love the large selection of both free and paid movies, tv shows, music and apps! Now all we need is one more for the den and we can cut cable completely! Thanks Roku!!
