I appreciate the choices. Hate not being able to change the channels traditionally. It does interrupt programs by having to load a lot, don't like that aspect.

Just the features I need

I have had my Roku SE for month and I'm very pleased with it. I was looking for a streaming device to connect to my 2012 Sony Bravia 47" TV because its media hub sucks. I was looking for something basic (no need for the latest CPU, 4k, no gaming, tons of memory, etc) and cheap but capable of delivering 1080P to watch my shows and movies in HD. My Sony TV image is great and I love it so they are the perfect match. One thing I wold love to is I wish the buttons in the remote control were programmable to put whatever you want.

Great Streaming Player

I bought the ROKU SE a month ago because my LG Smart TV from 2013 is already OUTDATED. I thought it would be difficult to get set up, but less than 30 minutes and I was up and running! I already had accounts with HULU, NETFLIX, AMAZON so I didn't have to set them up. The only negative I have with the player is that I wished it would have came with an HDMI cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great for a second room

I got this basic one because it was on a deal and i wanted it for my home office so i didnt have to stream off my computer and watch things so close

I bought this on Black Friday. We have a roku 3 in the front room and we needed a couple of rokus for the bedrooms. I like the set up of the roku 3 better but the roku 1's work fine for the bedrooms. Great device and service for what we paid for them.
