this is my fourth roku and counting. that is the guarantee of confidence and performance. wish roku adds south asian tamil and other indian channels in their next version.

I have not been able to see anything with ROKU, It does not impress me at all, the channel go in and out and everything is thirty day trail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought for my dad's house. We have only used it a couple of times but the only issue we have is buffering while playing movies. He has Fios and it is super high speed but I can't figure why it buffers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the SE on Black Friday. Did research on all brands and figured I would try the SE for the price. Was very satisfied. Exceeded my expectations.

Certainly appreciate your Christmas gift by way of this special edition model. Also the two input options are useful for non-HD TVs or smaller HDs that have only one HDMI port.

good for traveling

I choose the roku 1 because it has av jacks in the back that make it more compatible with older TVs. I enjoy this because I stay in alot of hotels and not all of them have HDTV. The only downside is needing an outlet for power.
