I got my Roku on November 27, 2015. I had to wait a most a week to get it hooked up because of technical difficulties on Roku end. I order Netflix and it will not loan on my Roku. It just say retrieving for hours. I like that I get to watch all the seasons and episodes of shows.

Good product but not working as I intended

Happy with it but it is not recognized by my Roku ready TV. I want to be able to use the TV remote to control the Roku.

Remote is slow.

I have 3 Roku players, One is streaming stick, one Roku 3 and this one I am reviewing. When I bought it on black Friday it was advertised as a special edition, not a Roku 1. I was disappointed in the remote; it is infrared, not wireless . Also, disappointed in the interface for Netflix, you can't have different accounts for different family members.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
