Perfect cable replacement

I bought the Roku 1 to use at my business which has an older model TV and needed a basic AV connection. I've absolutely loved having my streaming channels available via TV. The only problem I've had is that the control system to find/click on channels and shows (no matter which streaming service I click on) has been crazy since the beginning. I can't click the remote fast enough to stop on the show that I want because the choices spin out of control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish It Were a Little Faster

I bought this Roku for my bedroom tv. I have a Roku 2 in my living room. I guess I'm a little spoiled because of this. My bedroom Roku seems a lot slower to react than my Roku 2. Other than that my Roku 1 has met all of my expectations. I would recommend it for anyone's second tv!

would be better if i could save things to watch later, instead i go through tons of titles on 1 channel, then don't feel like looking at a 2nd so i just turn it off. next time....start again!

i have 2 ROKUs. i bought my first one to use at my cabin, not knowing what to expect. i have internet at my cabin, but didn't want to spend the money on cable for weekend television. i love it so much that i bought one for my home. i also bought on for each of my children to use at their homes. i have 5 grandchildren and the childrens programing is great.

I'm happy with the Roku 1 in terms of all the choices I have but not happy with the streaming so much. While watching a movie or sports stations it keeps loading like every 5 minutes which is extremely irritating. Not all movies do that but a lot do.
