Cable alternative

I bought Roku to replace a cable box for my daughters room. She is enjoying it watching her favorite shows and I am enjoying the smaller bill!

Slow And Steady

I bought this because I needed a device with composite out. It is very slow in reacting to remote commands. Once it starts streaming, it does remain steady. I haven't seen any skips. It doesn't allow Netflix profiles which is irritating to my son. He hijacked my Tivo to watch Netflix. It gets all the Roku channels that the Roku 3 gets. The only reason to ever buy this is if you need to connect to a composite TV or capture device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a Roku HD, a Roku 1 and 2 Roku SE's that I picked up on black friday. All of them work very well, with easy setup. I particularly like that they automatically add your channels to a new one when you log it in. I have seen some "smart" TV's and there is no comparison, Roku wins hands down.
