I bought this during the holiday season and could not be more pleased with it. I'am even thinking of dropping my paid tv service.

I tried another type of media player and was not happy at all! If you are going to get one I would only recommend ROKU brand!! Best remote and easiest to use!

It works faster than the Roku HD

I bought it as a replacement for a Roku HD I used to have, which was glitching and hanging more often than not. On the other hand, I could not have had chosen any one of the later Roku models because I have an old TV with an RCA input...
Anyway, now I enjoy watching whatever shows I choose!

This was my third Roku. Needed it for my home theater room. The Roku One, alone, has rca, analog audio outputs to feed my preamp.
However, found the remote strangely inconsistent, as has been noted on the web, and downloaded the Roku app to my IPhone which was much better in controlling the Roku.
Love all the features. Roku is the best.

I am happy I bought it. Only have trouble with one app "Netflix".
Doesn't let me sign in to my account. Am working on a solution and waiting to hear back from "Roku" reps anytime.

I love the fact that you can watch free tv all the time and that if you miss something on the regular tv you can go to the roku box and watch your show and pause it the next day. You can watch your movies and tv over and over again. You have that favorite movie or tv show , well you can watch it as many times as you want. I subscribe to hulu and amazon. I love these 2 channels. I cant watch all the movies or tv on these, then I have free channels that are packed with channels.
The fact that every month there is more and more channels to choose from is GREAT.
I had 1 of the original boxes. I am guessing it was about 10 plus years old and just upgraded. There was nothing wrong with the old box. Just felt i needed to gift myself with the Roku 3 and I also have the Roku SE.
I also purchased 6 for christmas gifts.
Roku you are amazing keep up the good work.
The fact that every month there is more and more channels to choose from is GREAT.
