I love Roku and thoroughly dislike cable. I can watch almost anything that cable offers through streaming with features similar really to On Demand. I have Hulu ,Netflix, and a two networks,the network are not so good. But that has no bearing on my Roku which is great. It helps me fight the cable monopoly. Each U.S. region has a cable monopoly ,there is no competition in your region. You are stuck. Got Roku. And I "fight the power!".And Roku if you use that . I want a check.

Amazing product

I bought a Roku 2 earlier in the year and love it. I live in a rural area and don't want to waste my money on satellite because I don't watch but maybe 1/16th of all the channels. So I would just be wasting money. With the Roku I can find what I want and not pay out the the rear to watch it.
For Christmas I bought the Roku SE, mainly cause of the price, for my bedroom. It is almost as good but some of the channels are not clear. This might be my Wi-Fi speed, but over all this was also a good buy for the price.
Would definitely recommend.......

Purchased about a month ago. Does what is it supposed to do, but does it S-L-O-W-L-Y... I also get frequent warnings from the TWC app that I should use a faster device for a better experience.

Easy to use & filled with lots of entertainment!

I purchased my 1st Roku for my mother to view the Jw.org website. I was happily surprised to find not just Jw.org but lots of entertaining channels (Ex. Netflix,Hulu,Mtv,different types of channels westerns,mysteries, cooking channels,music channels, Pbs, comedies, dramas' old movies new movies. Regular channels Cbs, Abc, and lots lots more!) I would recommend the Roku to anyone who likes to watch Tv at a fraction of the cost of Cable and Satalite, or anyone who wants to expand their viewing options.

I am trying to cut the cord as cable prices increase no less than 10% annually. I found a show that I hadn't watched in 30+ years. I work from home and this a great addition to the DVR. The sheer variety of free content is a great feature!

Purchased at a great price

This is my third Roku purchase. The other two are the Roku stick. Have not had this unit that long, but it seems to freeze up more than the sticks. Also Netflix does not load, which is no big problem. I stream Netflix thru Wii.
