Excellent replacement for cable tv.

I bought this item on black friday. At first I wasn't too pleased with the device. I had set it up at a friends house. It seemed like every channel cost money. Then I took home and set it up and looked into my Roku account and made my selections. I now have 108 FREE channels. Wow,in the past I would stay home to watch my favorite shows. Now I can get out do what I need and then come home and find whatever entertainment I want, when I want. Awesome, well worth the investment. The only issue I have is the time delay for streaming but that can be fixed with a better modem.

A girlfriend told me about the wonderful features of Roku and even got it for me as a Christmas gift. Definately the best I got this year! I've been tied to it since, to the point of not getting my housework done. Thanks a lot.

Wish I had heard about this sooner!!! The Roku 1 has the old RCA connectors that most old TVs have and can connect to.
