Simple

Very simple to use, however, it keeps having to "Load" or "Retrieve" and sometimes this will take forever. Eventually, it may turn your program completely off what you are watching. If it sits for awhile, I have to restart it altogether. Can be a hassle.

I bought my roku 1 about a month and a half ago and I've barely watched my satellite TV service in my room at my house since I hooked my roku up. If I lived alone I'd cancel my TV subscription completely.

I bought the device about a month ago. I think it works good; however I would like better programming for tv shows both old and new without having to subscribe to hulu or netflex. I think there is a real market especially cord cutters and those who can't afford monthly fees for shows. Especially old tv shows that one can get for free on regular television.

Got he special edition and after much trial and error they tell me that for Netflix you can only have one profile going... so other than that it's good, noticeably slower than my roku 3..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
