This is amazing TV I can rent movies get Netflix, HBO just love it. Simple to operate.

Bought Roku SE during Thanksgiving time. Really nice device. Lot better than chrome cast device.. Unlike Chrome cast the independent remote and processor based device has much more capability.
But search option makes little tedius.
But expected windows mirroring option (casting from PC). It would have made search easier.
No where in the online it was mentioned ROKU SE is basically ROKU1. Otherwise I would have gone for ROKU2.
Little upset that ROKU team did not mention it what is ROKU SE.. No info was available in the official website also.

I bought my Roku about a month ago. I enjoy the channels I want not what the satellite company says I should have. LOVE IT!!!!!

Bought this on black friday. Overall it works o.k. It freezes a lot and since there is no power button to it, it needs to be Unplugged and then plugged back in in order to reset. Also it looses Internet connection and no its not because I have cheap internet. My fire stick and other devices don't loose connection but the roku box does. Oh well cheap prices = cheap products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the Roku before Christmas. I've enjoyed favorite movies, TV shows, news and sports.
Roku has changed my entertainment viewing to a very wonderful experience. Everything at my fingertips, anytime. Love my Roku.

There are newer versions, which I hope have addressed my main issue, which is the user-UNfriendliness of moving around an (alphabetical!) keyboard to write what you want to search for, or to input your email address. And it doesn't even have a single key for ".com" to save time when inputting an email address! I got so frustrated trying to follow instructions of a Netjlix support person i was on the phone with, I wanted to throw the remote across the room. But I did enjoy being able to binge-watch Downton Abbey's first 5 episodes all in about 2 weeks -- via Amazon Prime.
