good box but lack functions

This box does provide a good program. It is very reliable. However, it lacks at least two additional features as well as not recognized in Roku's own system. The 1st function lacking is the screen mirroring. The SE is not the same as expected. Before buying, there is little information about it. The 2nd function lacking is extension to get additional pay or free channels from Asia. The SE is not recognized in Roku's own registration process as a device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own 3 ROKU devices and all work very well. One is the Roku stick and personally, for my use, it is the only type I need.

Works better than expected. Now I wish I hadn't been so cheap and would have sprig for a newer model , but for the Roku 1 its a great device . I will probably give it to my 64 year old mother since its so easy to use and get me the newest model. PS love how you can download the remotes to your smart phones makes my home so much easier with my tv, lights, AC,and roku controls on my phone that's rarely out of my hand

easy to use for movie entertainment

I got Roku for my birthday, at first it was problematic to turn on after turning it off. I want to think it may be an operator error. Now I think its a good investment.
