Easy to set up and has great features

I stopped cable and then the other provider and only stream now. Just purchased my 4th Roku so all my TVs stream. With Roku, I can watch most anything I want through the various channels. With the correct internet speed, the only problem I've encountered is buffering with CBS only, all other channels seem to stream with no buffering problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Assuming my Roku SE is a Roku 1, it's fine. For the price, it's the best bargain out there and program quality is high.

Slow processor

Great channels to add to home screen but remote to roku has a delay and is very slow to respond. Would be nice is the keyboard would allow you to store emails so you could speed up the process of logging in. Very time consuming.

Perfect for my needs

I'm happy I purchased Roku SE because it does what I need. I was looking for a simple solution to watch Netflix contents. In addition, I was looking for RCA connection since I'm using an older TV without HDMI. I do not have any complains, I was afraid that it might be little slow but I haven't had any issues with speed or latency with 25/5Mbs service. My only wish is that I could update the software of the Roku so when using Netflix I could have more than one user profile.

Brings new life to that old TV set!!

I bought the Roku 1 because of the RCA jacks to connect to my old tube set in the bedroom. Because the old set is not an HD TV, the streaming requirements are lower. This Roku is perfect! I now have Netflix, HBO, ESPN, and all my cable channels at my disposal on this old set. No more monthly fees for my digital converter device from my cable company!
