I don't know why but it's stuck inside retrieving..but it won't load Netflix .

I bought this for Christmas and turned off my cable. Saved money and still get to see my shows and movies. East to install and use. Best purchase I made for Christmas yet.wish I would have got one sooner.

Does what I need

I had to buy an older Roku 1 for one of my TV's when I cut the cable because I needed RCA jacks for the audio output (running the video to a DLP projector but sound to a speaker system). To be taken seriously as a television technology, you should be able to buy the latest Roku device with sound outputs other than just the HDMI. The older Roku 1 can only pull in b/g wireless signals, not n (double data rate though poorer range) which it too bad... I sometime get less that ideal throughput to this unit when my home network is in heavy use. I'm sure many others have said it too, but there really ought to be a standby mode you can go into by choice rather than just leaving the device on all the time.
