I have 2 Roku 1's , and a Roku T.V. , the only thing I regret is not getting one sooner than now , I will never forgive myself for spending and wasting all that money on cable T.V. , shame on me !

Streaming Media from my PC

I have 5 Roku media players, one attached to each TV. I have turned my PC into a media server and use the Roku to display it on my TVs. I even have a Roku that I take on the road so I can get my personal media on the hotel TV.

This makes streaming a breeze

This is our third Roku. So you can tell we really like the concept. Since this was going in our lake cabin, we opted for the lower cost LT model. It functions great. If we have one complaint, it is the Netflix App. It is an older version that does not allow changing users. It works fine for us, but we miss the flexibility that the Roku3 has, as far as Netflix goes. In short, don't just get the cheapest Roku thinking they all are the same. The software on the later models is truly better than on older ones.

I decided to go with Roku for streaming our television viewing. Instead of paying expensive billing for cable/satellite. Very Glad I did, we have seen some of the Best movies in a very long time. The best thing I like is you decide what you want to watch, you can build your own list of movies & programs to view.
