If you want to connect an older television to a streaming Wi-Fi network this device is just for you. I have an old 27" Magnavox TV in my basement rec-room that only has RCA AV inputs on the back. This device has the RCA AV outputs to connect directly to the TV. I simply plugged it in, changed the input on the TV to VCR (the RCA AV inputs) ran the setup program and now have a perfectly good older TV set up for the ROKU to allow access to my Amazon Prime account. It also connects to other streaming accounts as well. Great little devise at an affordable price.

Your experience will vary depending on the channel you are trying to watch. If you like me are playing with the free channels and find a show you want to watch and are having a hard time. look around another channel may have the same show and work better. Having said that the biggest "problem" I have with the roku itself is the inability to arrange my channels... so far it appears all you can do is move up and down... no grouping or anything.... currently I have 90 channels and will probably add more... but the list keeps getting longer.... so maybe not...
