It was the Perfect Christmas gift

my boss bought this for me for Christmas along with a years subscription to Netflicks and Hulu. So far...I am extremely happy with this system. She couldnt have bought a more perfect gift.

Received ROKU 1 as a gift and it has quickly become the favorite stream device. Once your account is set your free to brose the largest selection, catalog of tv, first run HD movies, docs., concerts w Quello, etc. highly recommended. Chromecast device has been unplugged and ROKU is the worthy champion!

It was extremely simple to set up...and has made it so easy to enjoy movies and shows from Amazon Prime and Netflix. It was on top of my cable box, and after binge watching, the unit would sometimes overheat... I since have simply turned the Roku player upside down and it hasn't overheated again :) (I guess I could simply move it from the cable box also- lol)

I bought this for my daughter who is 4 and I can't get her kid profile for Netflix it also cuts in and out from time to time I really wished I would have spent the extra money and got a regular roku
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 3 Roku 1 players. None of them would connect with my Netgear N 300 Wi FI router. I called customer support, they were very helpful, but no matter what I did, they would not connect. I took them over to my son's house, and connected to his Linksys Wi Fi with no problem at all. So I gave one to him. He is very happy with it, especially since he can control it with his phone I took the others to my friend's house, and was able to connect with their router, no problem at all. I have a Roku 3 player that is connected to my Netgear, my laptop connects, as does my tower, It must be some weird glitch that keeps the Roku 1 players from connecting.with the Netgear N 300 router.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased my Roku player last month and I can say that I've been enjoying every moment of it. You will be amazed at all the movies that Roku offers that are old and new ones. Love it, love it!!! I would recommend this to all my family and friends.

Love my new Roku

I have had a Roku 2 for several years in the family room. I received a Roku ES for Christmas for my den. The TV in the den is not HD and is older so the ES works just fine for me. I have enjoyed the programming for all these years and still do.

Bought this product a month ago and am so happy that I did. Didn't take long to set it up and is easy to learn to use. Have not had any problems with it.
