I like it except for one small problem that makes me hate it Netflix does not continue to play have to keep selecting next. That is so annoying

Love the easy hookup and use!

I have used Roku for several years and this is my second addition to my streaming family. It is very easy to hookup and use. I am a cord cutter and this is excellent! The only thing I would change is if Roku could integrate my over the air channels in some sort of app. with the capability of recording.

I bought the Ruko a month ago for Christmas and we hardly use anything else! Love the choices, from movies to music snd games it's awesome! !!

Roku 1 would be good for anyone that wants to cut cord on the cheap. The only complaint I have is the menu processing takes considerably longer than say; a Roku 3 or 4. Good for anyone within a budget wanting to dabble into cord cutting. Would be great in a guest bedroom. If you want to cord cut the proper way, then buy a Roku 3 or a 4. They are a better experience in my opinion. I have 4 Rokus in the house. An older Roku 2, a Newer Roku 1 (The one I am reviewing now) and a Roku 3. The other Roku is a Roku TV by TCL (Which is wonderful by the way). Roku is the BEST "Stream box" out there. Do NOT settle with anything less.

Christmas Gift Of Shows and Music

I got this for Christmas, it was easy set up. I like that it has other apps beyond the normal ones everything else has. I dont like that I have to have the payed spotify for that to work. Other than that no complints. It works great!

Small but mighty

I love my Roku 1, it is very small and does not get in the way. However the amount of data on it is incredible. I am very pleased with it. It has all the features I want, and it very easy to navigate and use.

My wi-fi location allowed us to buy a roku stream for our elderly neighbor. He is on a limited income and now can watch netfix and other channels. He is very happy with the new way of getting his entertainment.
