Easy Set Up And Easy To Use

I brought this 2 months ago. It was very easy to set up. Love the ability to add channels. We use this with our Amazon Prime account and a number of the free streaming services. The biggest selling point is this works with our older TV and with the new TV. Looking to add a second unit!

I am not real tech savvy so I was kind of hesitant to set it up. It was quite easy to set up and use. We enjoy Roku and sill not subscribe to cable again.

Great streaming player!

Couldn't beat the price so I went with this one and also that it works with my older TV without the HDMI inputs. Setup was a little bit of a chore, but within about 5-10 minutes, I was up and running. Movies and shows stream flawlessly without any buffer issues. I'm on AT&T uverse internet running about 12Mb speed. And with as many channels in the Roku store and counting, (and some of them are free) who needs a high cable/satellite bill every month? I would definately buy another one!

No more cable!!!

I bought this for a third tv in my house so streaming tv is now available on all tv's in our house. The only thing I don't love about the Roku 1 is that I can't get closed captioning. I can't hear as well and closed captioning is very helpful.

It's all about the content

Bought this as a gift for my son's room. It works great. Reliable and hooks up to an old tube tv. Roku content can't be matched. Apple Google and amazon limit choices because they push their own content and agenda. Roku does not so you get the best content.
