Love the Roku

I got this as a Christmas gift and have no regrets about getting it for my living room and older tv set. I already have Roku 2 but got the Roku 1 so I can use it in the living room.

I bough this around Thanksgiving, and I'm so happy I did. I can now get the apps on my phone and computer onto my TV without complicated setup.I have access to the top movie channels, my favorite national tv channels, streaming radios, games, even a planner.
However, with every pro comes cons. My roommates are always in my room because I now have the "good stuff". On a serious note though, I do not like that there is not a power button on my roku remote. Even when i turn my TV off the Roku is still on. The only way I have been successful turning it off is unplugging it. Other than that, COMPLETELY LOVE MY ROKU!!!!!

Great for the older TVs

Bought the Roku 1 for a Christmas gift for the family. Hooked up so easy with the RCA cables. I have already added and deleted the channels we want. I love our old large screen TV, the Roku 1 has let us have the modern streaming convenience. Thank You for keeping the older sets in mind as you made the Roku 1

Great for an older tv

I bought the Roku one because I have an older television and I could not hook up any other streaming device. I'm so happy now that I construed stream my Netflix and Amazon prime and Hulu. I am very happy with the product. It was a great purchase!

Found Roku player easy to install and set up within minutes plenty of streaming applications available some include Netflix, HBO, NFL just to name a few the most popular. Roku uses both RCA cables and HILM cables connectivity.
