Great choice...

I bought this Roku about a year ago and it still work good. My children and I enjoy it. Leaving satellite was the best choice I made. We watch may shows and movies without interruptions.

Everything I expected

I am not a tech geek, but was able to follow instructions and hook it up by myself. Just make sure you have high speed internet/wifi and know your keys or passwords to access it. I have two Roku's and love using them when regular tv is between seasons and nothing worth watching is on. If I lived in the city and my husband did not have to have the golf channel, I think I could say bye-bye to Direct tv. When someone tells me of a program I have missed I can usually watch it on a free or paid for Roku channel. I love watching tv shows without commercials. The next tv I buy will be a Smart TV, but until then this is great.

Love my Roku!

I got this for Christmas and i love my Roku1! The only problem i have with it is that you cant change between profiles on Netflix, youre only allowed to use the main profile on the account.

We have used this so much since we bought it. We barely watch cable anymore. It's has all the channels we need for our toddler and older kids plus for the grown ups too. If you don't have one you need to get one.

I am a Luddite at heart, and avoid most gadgetry (no microwave, no smart phone, etc.). My sister gave me a Roku for Christmas and I was relieved at how easy ot was - plug and go. IT's an awesome little gizmo :)
