After selling our home and moving everything into storage including our ROKU,
we were delighted to find and buy a 2nd ROKU which works with all televisions as we're living in a temporary apt. while house hunting.

So many program choices available

I have had my Roku1 for about a month after cutting the cord to my satellite subscription. I have been able to slash the cost of my monthly TV costs by about 75%, since the satellite rates were going through the roof. Besides I now have far more program choices than my satellite provider ever offered. I have no regrets on buying the Roku 1 and cutting the cord.

I was a bit disappointed b/c it doesn't seem to have all the great viewing options purported and you have to pay to watch anything decent. Also, when you do watch movies/shows there are caching issues where the show stops, and starts, stops and starts for the data buffering.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Insanely easy to set up

I bought four of these on Black Friday, gave 2 as gifts and set up two for personal use. I love, love, love my Roku. There is so much variety in programming and with the ability to stream live programs to my Roku we no longer have cable.

I bought my Roku about a year ago. I love, love it! Easy to setup and use. It is great with my Amazon prime channel. I loved it so much I bought one for my mother last mother's day and at Christmas I bout one for my son.
