Love this range!

We bought this 6 weeks ago after our old stove computer decided to take on a mind of its own and override my 350 degree setting. Temperature went up to 500 degrees. Needless to say, I had burnt banana bread, but it could have been so much worse. This is the second time we had computer issues with a stove, so I sent my husband searching for an electric stove with no computer. He found this model and I am glad he did! So easy to use. Temperatures are accurate. Thanks GE!

Simple complete package

I've had this range for two months now. I find it to be one of the best stoves we've had for a long time. Simple!!! I love the look and the ease of use. If you buy this stove you would buy it with the understanding that the beauty of it is the lack of all the Bells and Whistles. I enjoy not hearing the beep, beep, beep when you turn on, off, or change the settings of the modern ranges. We replaced our last stove because of the numerous repairs, replacements and COST of the electronic panels. If something quits working on this stove I will only have to replace the one broken part - a burner, a switch, etc.... Not whole stove electronic panels. Thanks GE for a SIMPLY Great Range.

I purchases this stove because i had nothing. I honestly love the stove. The oven makes the perfect cakes and ribs! The stovetop is easy to clean and maintain. I would have wished that it waa digital but for the price you cant aak for much more.

Looks Great, but has a few flaws.

Love the look of this stove in the Artistry Series, however it does have a few major flaws. 1) There is no timer for this stove, just the clock. I have to use the Microwave timer when cooking something. 2) there is no beeper to tell you when the oven temperature is ready to cook. It does have a light that does go off when ready, but that does not do you any good if you are in a different room. * My husband commented that we really went backwards with the purchase of this stove. GE needs to rethink these, I think. Love the Retro look but love some of the modern conveniences.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the cook top

Switched from electric to gas and love it. I like the look of this cook top with the middle double burner. It fells like you are setting your pots down on a sturdy, not flimsy surface. I like the way the oven door opens; it feels substantial.

Love most everything about this range except the clock is a bit noisy & when the oven is on, it makes noises like expanding steel. Hope it goes away.
