Great at first. And now it doesn’t want to turn in order to cook. Constantly fighting with it.

I cannot recommend this microwave. I bought it to replace a 14-year-old Frigidaire that could not be repaired. I chose this GE model because I have no use for many additional features. However, the GE is extremely noisy and does not heat evenly. I almost have to go out of the room when it is running because of the noise. And I have to frequently stir food because of the uneven heating. Food that cannot be stirred remains hot in some areas and cold in others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is the 2nd GE microwave I've bought in 5 years (same model). they both did the same thing. right after the warranty ran out it started tripping the breaker when turned on. I have an independent line run for the microwave. trouble shot the the line for both and it's the microwave. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend GE microwaves

Surprised at how quiet this model is compared to my last microwave from a different manufacturer. Love the super large tray and the on/off switch for the turntable. One touch features make it super easy to use, even for kids. Great product for the price!
