PERFECT FIT, GREAT REPLACEMENT

This is my third GE microwave oven, all over the range SpaceSaver models. This new one replace a 22 year old Microwave. The reason to replace it, the handle broke and since it was so old, the replacement handle cost half what a new microwave, so I bought this new one. Installation easy, just had to change out the mounting bracket and drill 3 new holes. This model is incredible, how advanced it is over the old one, which really was pretty great. Love GE products and highly recommend it. Note: you really need 2 people to install it, and it took approximately 2.5 hours. But really worth it.

What I love about this model is the Express cook. I installed it myself and appreciated the detailed instructions and template sheet to drill the holes to anchor unit. Thank you GE Engineers!

Grill will break as soon as you try to remove

Could not remove grill to install the charcoal filter without almost breaking the grill. I swear I was about to snap off the junk plastic tabs. Then after installing the charcoal filter I couldn't reinstall the grill without the same problems. And the instructions in section A5 are horrible! They say if you can't access the screws on top the grill you should refer to section A5!!! That's the section I was already in........A5!!!! Don't buy this junk microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
