Overall, after two months of service we are very pleased with our microwave...with one exception. It boggles us why GE chose to not backlight the control panel. You have to either memorize location of buttons, or turn on the kitchen light to operate the oven. This was not the case with our previous unit so we assumed and got bit. Otherwise, so far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had this microwave and 1 month out of warranty it died on me. Cannot believe the thing only lasted 13 months. Surprisingly we had the similar model before it and that lasted a lot longer. Poorly made product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought a replacement based on cost and ease of replacement regarding installation. The first one only lasted 26 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is beautiful over our stainless cooktop range.

After three weeks, we are very satisfied. We have used a couple of the features with no problems. It is quieter than our previous microwave and the exhaust works well. I would prefer that the touch screen text be a little easier to see but after a while you remember where the buttons are.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only feature which did not meet our expectations is that the clock digits are too close together. Having worked in digital displays in my past, the spacing on the digits is too close. It would never have been acceptable when I was working.
