Love the 1-button preset cooking features

We got this microwave when we bought our house. It's been easy to: use, clean, change bulbs underneath, and find filters.

Works well but...

This is a good microwave oven for the price. The only thing I don't like is you can't really see or read the lettering on the various buttons on the control panel unless a light is shining directly on them. This is pretty annoying and seems like a serious design flaw. There is no backlight to make the lettering visible on the black backround, and in low or indirect light you literally can not read what is says.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly/low quality made product

Microwave expired after less than three years of service. My homewarranty will replace Our homeowner warranty will only cover an identical item so we are back again owning another GE microwave; not happy with the brand, we generally not have good results with GE products, nevertheless, the unit is now functioning. We also not so long ago switched out a GE garbage disposal unit, we had the option this time so we went with another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hoping for better performance

This purchase replaces previous GE Microwave purchased in April 2018 and installed which ONLY lasted two years before failing. I can only hope this purchase does better otherwise this will be the LAST GE purchase.

Did not last very long

I purchased this to replace the exact one that came with the house which had lasted for over 10 years. This one didn't last 4 years. Very disappointed! Now we must get another one.

Circuit breaker

It keeps tripping the breaker after 3 weeks. I had a same model for 2 years and had a same problem. For the installation purposes , I bought the same one but I had to return it.
