I had to replace my microwave after a power surge in my home. I purchased the same machine the second time because I got excellent service from the machine before. This is a good durable machine.

Protective plastic on panel

Less than a month in and I notice bubbling in the plastic on the control panel. Trying to find out if I was supposed remove this or if it’s defective

Hi Kmicro - Thanks for sharing your concern and giving us a chance to help. Many microwaves are now packed with a plastic film applied to the outside of the door and control panel. It is used to prevent scratching during shipping and should be removed before using the microwave. This is a static cling film that should peel off easily. We hope this helps! - Sharon@GEA

Very loud!

This microwave is very loud and I am not happy with it. I bought it to replace an older GE unit and did not realize how loud it was until after it was installed. I wish I could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dead after 3 years

The handle broke off after 2 years. Taped it back on and tried to get a little more life out of it. Last week the whole d4mn thing just died.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
