Made to break

I liked using this microwave while it lasted. Then the breaker started tripping consistently. I replaced the door switches and fuse several times, same problem. I've been reading reviews from others stating that this is a common problem, and that GE recognizes the flimsy construction of some key mechanisms is leading to this consistent problem. Yet they keep making and selling the same model. I didn't want to have to send mine to a landfill; I'm resourceful. But I'm running out of options. Is there anything you can do to rectify this situation, GE?

Can't see the display

I was so excited to get my slate colored unit, but am very disappointed because the details of the display are also in gray and I can't see them unless I have a bright light on them. I tried to see if there was a substitute control panel available, but there isn't. I can see the time, because it is lit up, but have resorted to using my old micro-convection oven for everything. This unit will sit there unused except for the stove-top light to which I have placed a white label to find it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice but not the best, very cheap!

Very good product but not the best, finish & looks are good, but quality is below average! cooking is easy and the most annoying thing about this microwave is the control panel too dark & not lit !! Very annoying you can't read the lettering on the control panel, you need a flash lights to see the controls!! Overall is good for the money if you have perfect vision & can see dark control panel!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
