We had to replace our microwave after 4 years which is totally unacceptable!!!!

Great Features - Developed issues after 3 months

The product is good with nice features. Worked great after installation on 4/25/2021. At the end of July (3 months after install) the problems started. Everything works but sometimes it heats and most times it does not heat. Trying to Get GE to help

Prior GE microwave (exact same model) broke down after only 4 years. Replaced with same model as under-cabinet microwave matching other appliances. Otherwise would not go with a GE product again.

Good unit great price

Unit is similar to GE microwave I had before. Biggest drawback is that there is no control for volume on beeper alert. My previous GE unit had beeper control which you could mute.

Installation Template needs work

The person that did the installation template never installed the microwave. I had to drill my holes multiple times because the template was off. It needs to on both sides of the paper and factor in the installation bracket that is on the back of the microwave. all in all I got it installed so that is good.

Update with less options

Replaced same model that died after 4 years. There are a few updates like removing the Soften button (our most used setting for softening butter) and making the interior smaller. Also needlessly changing the support bracket and location of top screws necessitated drilling new holes in my cabinet instead of making replacement simple. It was really the only reason I purchased the same model to begin with, so not too convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!
