Much preferred disco'd model this replaced. It had rounded edges and this looks very plain. Works fine.

Frustrated

Bought microwave as similar to the one purchased 5 years earlier. It looks exactly the same as previous microwave, but has a different model number. Needless to say, it's ashamed that these things die after just 5 years. But even more disturbing is the changing of the mounting brackets and the wholes on top fo the microwave to secure it from under the cabinet. We had to drill new wholes in the wall and in the cabinet to mount the new microwave. Why can't GE come up with a standard mounting template?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave looks nice in a kitchen with stainless steel and/or black appliances. I have never had a problem with GE appliances...always durable and efficient.

So far so good. We have had this microwave for about a month. No problems at all.
We had a similar GE microwave before this one. This one is much more quiet.
