The microwave works just fine. Being that it is so new I feel it should have led lights. The light it has underneath makes the microwave feel old and cheap.

No operating instructions!

Microwave comes with elaborate installation instructions but none for basic operation. Confusing and frustrating when trying to reheat for :30 - :45 seconds. if you try entering numerically the council flashes the word FOOD!!! Miss our Kenmore micro. Best feature is the reasonable pitch of the timer. Vendor recommended Re:size.

To operate the Reheat feature:

1. Press the Reheat button up to six times to choose the correct selection.
Press once for a pizza.
Press twice for vegetables.
Press three times for a plate of leftovers.
Press four times for soup.
Press five times for meat.
Press six times for pasta.

2. Press the 1, 2, or 3 pad to select the serving size

3. Press Start/Pause.
Cooking will start when the countdown begins in the display

Key Pad Hard To Read!!

It’s a microwave. All we use it for is reheating left overs or cooking a baked potato. Installation was not a problem. Understanding the manual is no issue. Performance features have no problem.
The keypad is a problem. I believe it is designed to focus on a sleeker appearance. However it is very hard to see unless it is daylight out or the brightest kitchen lights are on. At night, with only under the counter lights on it is really hard to see the keypad.
We purchased this unit online without going to a store and never thought a keypad would be an issue. We were more concerned about installation, the mounting plate and color. It’s installed now so it will stay but if I had to do it all over again I will think about the legibility of the keypad next time.

Having a microwave that works well is a joy. Having one that for no reasons craps out just over the three year mark is frustrating and disgusting. It will cost nearly the same to repair as to replace ours, so it will be replaced with a different brand. GE, you broke my heart.

Had it repaired twice after replacing the original one. And now it is not working again. Whenever you start it the breaker trips! I am so disappointed. And it is just two adults in the house.

Please note the microwave should be on its own separate circuit. If the circuit is overloaded this could cause it to trip the breaker. Please review page 2 in the installation instructions:
