Great features

I've had 2 of these. The handle broke off first one. It was less than 2 years old. It has great features and easy to use. Micro works great. It's the cheap plastic it's enclosed in that's the problem. Only reason I got another one is the black color. Only black one I could find and can't afford to replace all the appliances because of color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade from old design

Our old GE microwave blew a circuit board and the house being built eight years ago it was time for an upgrade. The new one we got is just like the old one (controls in all the same locations mostly and the same controls). So there was no learning curve with the new microwave just all soft-touch buttons instead of some of them being separate from the keyboard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The control panel is not backlit and is next to impossible to read. I have to keep a flashlight next to the microwave to be able to use it. If I had known this, I never would have purchased it.

My parents and I have the same make and model of microwave. When you open the door before the time is up it trips a breaker.
The last time I opened my microwave before the time was up the microwave stopped working altogether.
