Refurbished/ Poor quality

This is more like a Replica to be fair.Vent Fan is always on. This seems as if it was put together by using parts that aren’t GE quality. Something seems fishy. The shud on the door isn’t smooth, the build quality isn’t anywhere near as the previous ones, and it seems like it was fudged together using rough finished materials.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Choice all the Way !

This over-the-range microwave oven was the exact replacement for our 2004 model which was installed by the builder in our brand new home back in 2005 ! It served us well !! This new 2022 GE model over-the-range microwave unit fitted into the space between two cabinets just perfectly ! The installation instructions were easy to follow, and we had no problems whatsoever. The power is strong on this unit, the exhaust fan/filter function seems more efficient, and there feels like even more cooking space room inside this new model ! :-)) Thank you, GE, for another wonderful product ! Our kitchen is FULL of them, and we always recommend GE appliances to others !!! :-)

Nice product but only has one light

We just got this microwave installed in our kitchen. We are replacing our old GE white microwave and it is very similar to the old one. However, it only has one light.

Very loud fan. On automatically. Can not turn off

Very Very Very loud!!! Fan comes on in high mode, every time I use the microwave and it can not be turned off. Hate the automatic fan feature. I want to be able to turn off fan. I think most people know when a fan is needed and when it is not needed. Not being given a choice to turn off fan is saying that you all think those who use this machine are stupid; that the machine knows best. Directions stat that if cook top is hot the fan will come on automatically and can stay on for up to 30 minutes! It is very loud! Hate the automatic fan feature. Unhappy with this product. When I contacted company they recommended to schedule a service call via web site. Web Site kept saying they did not have an address associated with my product despite having registered it on line. Gave up after numerous attempts. Finally after 3 phone calls, I was given a local phone number but the company states they do not do appliances! Wasted the whole day trying to figure out how to resolve this problem.

Hopefully 3rd time is a charm

Purchased this unit with a package deal that included stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The first microwave the handle broke off a few years later so we purchased a second one. The second one quit working completely after only 4 months. We replaced all fuses and still didn't work. On the 3rd one now. We had to go back with the same one to match the other appliances. Praying this one last.

Looks nice but runs very loud.

This unit looks very nice. It has plenty of bells and whistles and works fine. However, it is so noisy. I've never had a microwave this loud before.??? Don't know why??
