Does the Job

Bought this model to replace its predecessor that died suddenly after 13 years of service. The overhead attaching bolts are in a different place, so we had to drill new holes in the overhead cabinet. Otherwise, installation was fairly easy. The unit itself seems to be noisier than the previous model. Easy to operate and has plenty of features. Nice looking, too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

plate and ring with wheels do not stay secure

Makes a thumping noise when plate turns around...it is all securely in place but still thumps occasionally like something is not quite right

I bought this microwave because I had another GE microwave for ten years, and I was really happy with it. However this one is to noisy and control panel is hard to push.

Nice looking, easy installation , but still use two people due to weight. Very powerful for cooking.. Price was very reasonable as well. Happy with our purchase. We recently bought a new fridge and ended up with GE as well.

Dependable American Made Product

I only have one concern about this oven. The control panel with instructions is difficult to read. The entire panel should be lighted and not a dark black as it is now. My previous microwave was a GE and it lasted for 25 and 1/2 years so I looked for another GE. In the brightly lit appliance store the panel looked okay. Now I have to turn on all the lights in my kitchen to read it.

Oh My!

My only 4 year old GE range just stopped wolfing one day. Since I loved this microwave do much, I ordered another one, same Model #. Oh my! This isn’t even close. It’s a cheap copy of my original. It’s tinny, has only one light, no filter covers, it’s just a piece of junk but I’m stuck with it - for probably 4 years
