27 YEARS AGO WE BOUGHT A GE SPACE SAVER MICROWAVE AND WE JUST REPLACED IT WITH A NEW GE MICROWAVE. OUR GE LASTED THAT LONG SO WE WERE SURE TO PURCHACE A NEW GE MICROWAVE. WE LOVE THE SLEEK STYLE OF THE DOOR, IT HAS EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED. SALES PERSON WAS GREAT AND THE INSTILLATION WENT SMOOTH

This unit replaced a 21 year old GE microwave. This unit is much faster and quieter. It looks wonderful in the kitchen.

Not as good as the same model I purchased 4 years

I hate this microwave. I loved the same model from 4 years ago. Why doesn’t GE just change the model numbers so we consumers aren’t fooled into thinking we are getting the same thing. The new model has terrible reviews. Check the dates on the reviews. Anything purchased after 2020 is a new version, which has no Reheat descriptions, has only one light instead of 2 halogens, has no cover on filters, has a cheap handle, cannot operate the timer with the start/cancel button, has a smaller turntable, leaves terrible fingerprints, is harder to clean the surfaces, comes without a manual, I could go on and on, but why bother except to warn others. This is a cheap version of the old model. Buyer Beware!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
