The keypad buttons are annoyingly hard to push

In general, it's a microwave, and does what a microwave needs to do. But compared to our older Samsung model, pushing the buttons takes too much force. We considered bringing it back, but it sat in our garage while our contractor completed the new counter installation, and so now we can't. But we don't like it. Buttons should be easy to press. And we are reminded of this issue every time we use it. Annoying.

Terrible stopped working after 17 months

Dead after 4 years.

4 years old and it’s dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. After 4 years! So disappointed in GE. Now I have to quickly go out and purchase another over the stove microwave as this is aldo my range vent and light. Aarrrgh!

No problems at all. There is no possible way to close the door quietly, but other than that, it works as it should. It looks nice as well.

Insanely loud automatic fan

I am about to have a meltdown. Paid through the nose to have this unit installed yesterday and it is horrible ! Every time you turn it on the vent comes in automatically and cannot be turned off and it makes the insane high power vent sound ! So while microwaving anything it will be super loud. This appliance is trash and now I am stuck with it :( Do NOT buy, you will regret it !!!

Bad quality

I currently have this same product in another home anf nevetvhad a problem, this was the main reason I purchased. However this particular one was a disaster. I used 3 times and it completely died. On top of that when I called I couldn't take back to the store even though it was less than 15 days purchase. I called GE and they will send someone to look at it but, it will be within almost 6 weeks. I'm lucky I don't rely in the microwave to eat!!! At this rate people starve!! Needless to say I'm very disappointed because I have always liked GE products.
