Poor Quality Parts

Although the heating function works as expected, the physical components are very poorly made. There are only two adults in this house, and we are not abusive to appliances. We open and close things without slamming. That said, the top exhaust piece (grate?) across the top front edge basically disintegrated. Multiple pieces broke off, and we had to remove it. Thankfully it still operates without it. Then, the lower door handle mount cracked. We super glued it, but the it broke in more places. I will never buy a GE microwave again.

Works as it should but the clock brightness is way too bright It's like a bright flashlight shining in your eyes. The keypad on the other hand has no backlight and is very hard for me to read unless kitchen light is on. It sure would be nice if GE would provide a skin with bright letters that would be placed over the keyboard. I can honestly say because of the keypad that I would not recommend this microwave nor will I purchase another GE microwave!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought it in January 2021 and it stopped working in January 2023. It just stopped heating. Everything else seems ok.

Good Looks and Performance

My favorite feature of my GE microwave is that I can set the time for full minutes and the oven will start without pushing any other buttons. The only thing I don't like is the rattle of the door when I open the oven. It sound flimsy.
