Looks Great, Works Like A Charm

We have used this same model GE microwave for 10 years. Buying an new one was easy because there was no question about its performance! There is one thing GE should do differently. The control panel should be lighted when touched. At night you have to turn on a kitchen light to see the keypad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loud vent

I had an earlier model of the exact microwave. I loved it but renovated my kitchen and I wanted a new one. When I used it it was quiet. This new one, a vent goes on automatically. It's stupid loud. No way to turn it off. Not happy

Large capacity Over Range Microwave

Love my new microwave. Never realized how big the inside of an over the stove microwave could be. Much larger than our old one. Also, heats better. The only thing I don't like is the position of the controls and how hard it is to read them. They should either be lighted or more paint to show up better. Also, the light button should be in the bottom row. Guess I will eventually memorize the placement of all the controls but for now, I have trouble every time I use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased all new GE appliances for my new home. This item is my least favorite. The door is hard to open and after 3 years, the display lights started to go out.
