So far this microwave looks and works great! It's not noisy when it runs, lights up range very well with 2 different lighting settings, and looks great with our oak cabinets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to replace our Samsung over-the-range microwave. Wife is happy as the slate color now matches our other GE appliances. I do wish that there was a standard for the mounts on the back and top for 1.6 cf microwaves, as I had to drill new holes in the wall and our top cabinet which was very time consuming (to make sure I didn't screw up!). Microwave works as expected; we are still learning the differences on the touch panel between the old one and this one.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. I had one similar just in a different color. When it tore up after 14 years I didn't hesitate to get another GE product. I love it!

I bought it 2 months ago. Everything works fine EXCEPT the touch pad that controls the microwave is very hard to read except in bright light.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
