Burns Bacon strips

Have had GE out twice unsuccessfully. If you follow the cooking instructions from the bacon manufacturer, the oven burns the bacon. The middle of the turntable is so hot that the strips get brown burns in less than a minute. Very Disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to open door

Only problem so far are the door is difficult to open and the turn table squeaks. The clock read out numbers are to close together and are difficult to read.

Simple Microwave to use

I had a very similar model for about 10+ years and liked it. Since my husband has developed a memory problem, I needed a model that closely resembled our old one that broke down. After looking on line I discovered that GE still made a model closely operating the same as the old one-I was delighted!

Door hard to close; prompt buttons not bright enou

This item replaced a 12-year-old GE XL. It is an inferior substitute. The door is hard to open and close, and the prompt buttons are hard to see. I am disappointed in this product.

You need to ADD back lighting on the key pad.

You need to add backlighting on the control pad you should be able to touch the keypad and have it light up .

Love my microwave!

I have been using my new GE Overstove Microwave Oven for a couple months. I am completely satisfied. It is much quieter than my old one was and is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.
